Hoorah for color. Color is such a great way of adding a little "zest" to any monochromatic look. I don't know if you guys have noticed but color is slowly making its way into my closet! This look reminded me a macaroon flavor, "Orange Blossom," which I had this past weekend from the oh so famous, Laduree. My beanie reminded me of the flavor not just because of the obvious (color orange) but because made my head look like a little flower bud (thanks to my oddly shaped head). Then there's the connection between a flower bud and a blossom, and thanks to that little thought tangent, I now have a title for this post! But referencing back to my little comment about my oddly shaped head, I can't pull beanies off as well as most people can thanks to my strange head. For one thing, my ears stick out further then most people. Secondly, my head shape is like an oblong oval and the beanie looks like a a Victreebell (pokemon) that's about to devour my head. I think beanies look better on people with a more. . . voluminous top head. But it's ok.
