thrifted blazer, blouse. asiaphillic.com shorts. aldo shoes. forever 21 bracelets. unknown ring.
I recently thrifted this kinda awesome blazer, but when I first saw it I was like "meh." Regardless, I decided to try it on and it was huge! But than I noticed the beading was in the shape of planets and stars! It looked like a bunch of bead and sequin mish mash at first, but if you look closely you can see plants on the tip of the lapels as well as a shooting star! I thought it was cute and unique, so I purchased it but it required some alterations around the shoulders as they were too big! So I busted out my ancient sewing machine and put my sewing skills to use! I literally took an inch off the shoulders and this was as much the fabric would allow me without creating puckers and tucks!

Wow, this is so cool. This is not a color a lot of people could pull off but it looks amazing on you and I love the sheer top under it. I totally know what you mean about buying blazers thrifted and needing them tailored. I've had to do that a few times!
