sunburst crochet

diy scarf. h&m tee. gifted ring.

This past winter break while I was home I didn't want to be a fatty and sleep and watch T.V. all day. So I made a to do list to keep me productive. In addition to reading the Hunger Games, which was amazing by the way and I highly recommend everyone read it if they have not already. I'm obsessed with the series and I can't wait for the movie to come out! Oh Peeta (character from the book)! But like I said, in addition to reading I also learned to crochet! Which was something I have been eager to learn for some time now. This scarf is the first project into my little crochet adventure and it's not bad! I'm actually quite proud of it! As I stated in my cobalt post, I've been slowly integrating color into my wardrobe and I think this scarf is a perfect addition! I love the sunburst orange, it just warms my little heart everytime I take a glance at it :)

I actually learned through a youtube video. Click here to watch it! It's really easy! I made mine wider and longer (10ft) then the example provided and I just bought my supplies at Jo-Anns. Have fun!

Love the bright yellow and pattern you got going there! Crocheting is still on my lists of to dos but I find it harder than knitting. Hunger Games is so good, I hope the movie doesn't disappoint!
